Description
We invite you to join us for the 2024 Old Time Summerville Christmas Celebration! Join us in Hutchinson Square on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6:00 – 8:30 pm with pre ceremonial music by
The Summerville Orchestra Youth Philharmonic from 5:45-6:00pm.
Ceremony & Tree Lighting: Starts at 6:00pm
The ceremony will start at this time and will end around 6:15pm with the tree being lit.
Music by DuBose Middle School and Summerville High School Steel Bands: 6:30-8:00pm
Music will be provided on the main stage in Hutchinson Square
Pictures with Santa (Behind Town Hall): 6:00 – 7:30pm
Bring your cameras and smiles for pictures with Santa. Please note, this is for pictures only and please save gift wishes for your letters to Santa!
Live Window Displays: 6:30 – 8:30pm
A list of participating businesses will be posted with a map once we are closer to the event date. Summerville Visitor Center will be providing QR Codes for the public to vote this year for their favorite Live Window Display. Find out at the end of the night who will receive the winning ribbon! Ribbons will be given for 1st,2nd and 3rd place winners!
Letters to Santa - (Short Central Ave): 6:00 – 8:00pm
The mailbox and letter writing station will be located on Short Central Ave. If you would like your child to receive a letter back from Santa, please include you child's letter and a pre stamped envelope with your address on it.
